Rules: "always match this payer"

A grandmother pays for a grandchild; a company pays for an employee's child; a housing authority pays part of the rent. A rule tells ePayRecon who that payer pays for.

1. On the review screen, open the ⋯ menu of a payment and choose Always match this payer to… (or press r).
2. Choose the person.

The payment and the payer's other open payments are assigned at once, and the next ones match automatically. Split rules share a payer's payments in fixed portions (a housing authority's HAP for several tenants). See and change all rules on the Rules page.

The Matching issues summary suggests rules for payers who regularly pay for the same person; creating one always takes your click.
